Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Power Generation team in Phoenix. The role focuses on supporting power and energy projects across utility, IPP, industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors, combining technical design with contractual oversight.

You will coordinate with the mechanical team and other disciplines, monitor status, and deliver detailed design support for owner’s engineer projects, including fossil and renewable technologies.

Qualifications

• A PE license recognized by the licensing board for the location.
• Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Power Market design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the project mechanical team and other disciplines.
• Monitor and communicate project status.
• Provide mechanical engineering support for detailed design.
• Support owner’s engineer projects on technical and contractual aspects.
• Work on projects involving fossil-fired engines/turbines/boilers and renewables (solar/wind) and energy storage.
