Job summary

KAEKO, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Industrial, Manufacturing, Educational and Municipal facilities. You will design using AutoCAD/Revit, perform load calculations, and ensure adherence to ASHRAE/IBC/IMC/IECC guidelines.

You will mentor junior designers, coordinate with the Project Manager, and contribute to QC/QA processes while communicating progress with the team. This role requires leadership and detailed design skills within an EEO-friendly firm.

Qualifications

10+ years of mechanical design experience in consulting engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer with Arizona registration.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with HVAC design standards.
Strong understanding of building codes and project coordination.

Responsibilities

Design Industrial, Manufacturing, Educational and Municipal facilities per project scope.
Perform building load and ventilation calculations per ASHRAE, IBC, IMC and IECC guidelines.
Assign design tasks to design team and mentor junior designers.
Coordinate requirements with Project Manager and Team Leadership; communicate status and issues.
Participate in pre-design site visits and as-building; ensure QC/QA per KAEKO standards.
