Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead design and delivery of HVAC systems for research, healthcare, and higher education facilities. You will manage design processes, develop innovative solutions, and coordinate with clients and project partners.

The role requires a BSME/BSAE or equivalent, 15+ years of HVAC experience, PE registration, and proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Strong communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in mechanical engineering (BSME/BSAE).
• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineer (PE) registration required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners, and oversee the design process on assigned projects within a discipline.
• Develop innovative and unique design solutions aligned with project and client needs and lead the team in implementing them.
