Job summary

You will manage mechanical and process systems from feasibility through detailed design, coordinating with design and operations teams to ensure a complete, approved scope. The role requires PE registration or active pursuit, 4+ years in related fields, and strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience in design and construction of Mechanical and Process Mechanical systems.
• Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) or aspiration to achieve that registration
• Experience with Mechanical systems such as HVAC, Cleanroom Make Up and Recirculation Air, Heating and Chilled water systems, Fire Protection, Process Exhausts, or Process Mechanical Systems like Process Cooling Water or Oil Free Air
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiar with construction documents
• High attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of the Design Builder's Architectural and Engineering / Owners Design Consultant for Mechanical and Process Mechanical deliverables.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination with other disciplines to ensure a complete, approved scope.
• Ensure work is code compliant and aligned with client policies and expectations.
• Deliver projects using multiple delivery strategies to meet schedules and budgets.
• Develop discipline scope and engineering solutions including schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Construction, and operations to enable facility design efforts.
• Provide input on design reviews, constructability, and contractor performance.
• Ensure estimating accuracy linked to scope and project schedules.
• Develop innovative engineering and design methodologies for aggressive schedules.
• Interface with Design, Construction, and Manufacturers to ensure coordinated facility design.
• Produce complete, detailed construction documents.
• Evaluate equipment and processes for optimization and safety compliance.
• Perform mechanical engineering analyses for scenarios affecting time and cost constraints.
• Write specifications using CSI Masterspec.
