Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer III to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of complex mechanical systems for energy and infrastructure projects on hospital and college campuses. This role requires signing and sealing documents and ensuring constructible, code-compliant solutions within ENFRA’s design-build framework.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive long-term energy savings and performance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical system design.
• Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents and overseeing technical quality.
• Leads the design and execution of complex mechanical systems and large-scale projects.
• Develops detailed system configurations and control schemes with emphasis on long-term energy savings.
• Establishes engineering approaches, design standards, and best practices.
• Provides technical oversight and review of work performed by junior staff.
• Manages discipline scope, schedules, and budgets on projects.
