Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to use CAD software to complete complex mechanical designs.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex mechanical designs as a Master CAD-user.
• Know injection molding, die casting, stamping, machining, and materials considerations.
• Specify test plans and validate complex mechanical systems against design requirements.
• Lead risk mitigation, feasibility assessments, and vendor collaborations for mechanical designs.
• Lead explorations of new technologies and estimate tooling, part cost, and design time.
