Qualifications

• Proficient use of relevant engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Design moderately complex mechanical components for Garmin or OEM products
• Model complex parts using CAD software
• Contribute to design reviews with actionable feedback
• Mockup and test basic systems to verify requirements
• Estimate tooling, part costs, and design time for basic designs
• Coordinate with vendors for custom parts and tooling
• Define test plans for validating moderately complex systems
• Knowledge of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal stamping, machining processes
