Job summary

Quest Industrial is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical designs for product machinery, applying independent judgement and strong technical skills. You’ll build relationships with internal teams and customers, turning concepts into reliable solutions on advanced automation projects.

This role requires 7+ years in equipment design, preferably OEM experience, with knowledge of machined and fabricated parts, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and the ability to travel to customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years in equipment design, preferably OEM design experience.
• Strong knowledge of machined and fabricated parts.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, actuators.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for OEM equipment design of mechanical components and systems.
• Understand customer specifications and design mechanical components of machinery.
• Work closely with Sales and direct customers.
• Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to ensure functional, economical designs.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings with tolerances and dimensions.
• Prepare bills of material based on design for production.
• Interface with co-workers to ensure proper fabrication and assembly.
• Coordinate machinery mechanical testing and project delivery.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and Service Technicians during installation.
