You will lead a small engineering team and interface with program managers to deliver manufacturable designs that meet strict DOE/commercial standards. The role requires hands-on modeling in SolidWorks, performing FEA with ANSYS, and experience with Adams for multibody dynamics is a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5–10 years of related experience in mechanical/nuclear systems preferred.
• Active Professional Engineering License a strong plus.
• Experience leading small engineering teams preferred.
• Knowledge of INCOSE/ISO/DoD systems engineering is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop designs based on customer and regulatory requirements and verify design compliance.
• Create 3D models and shop drawings using SolidWorks.
• Apply GD&T to designs and perform structural/thermal/kinematic analyses (FEA or hand calculations).
• Direct and coordinate fabrication, installation, and testing activities to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Write and review technical reports and design documents.
