Job summary

SPX Cincinnati Fan, part of Engineered Air Movement, seeks a Senior Engineer I for New Product Development to design, test, and launch new industrial fan and air movement products. You will work across manufacturing, sales, sourcing, and quality to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will translate concepts into CAD models, perform analyses, specify BOMs, and support testing and qualification activities within project timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design engineering experience in product development or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new industrial fan and air movement products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, sourcing, and quality teams.
• Conduct engineering calculations and CAD modeling.
• Perform testing and verifications to meet specifications.
• Develop cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.
