Constellation Search Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time direct hire in Minnesota. The role leads product and system architecture, performs hands-on machine design, and collaborates with customers to develop innovative motion solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on design experience in industrial automation or defense, strong CAD/CAE skills (SolidWorks, ANSYS), and proven leadership and communication abilities. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and system-level electro‑mechanical design efforts, including requirements definition and architecture.
• Own detailed mechanical layouts, FEA models, and tolerance schemes for performance and manufacturability.
• Engage with product managers and customer engineers to translate needs into robust designs.
• Represent the company in customer design reviews and program meetings.
