Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corp., seeks a Product Engineer in Valley Green, PA. The role covers engineering support across the full product lifecycle, including NPI, production, sustaining engineering, and EOL.

You will be the primary product engineering interface to manufacturing, collaborating globally with suppliers and customers. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks proficiency, 2+ years of experience, and strong GD&T

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
Minimum 2 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer.
Working knowledge of engineering drawing standards (ASME Y14.5).
Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

New Product Introduction (NPI) and development for mezzanine connector products across the full lifecycle.
Define and release engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications for manufacturability.
Provide on-site factory support during pilot builds and ramp-up.
Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering to develop scalable production processes.
Analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement and support supplier interactions.
