IMRIS Imaging, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems across the IMRIS product line.

The role leads mechanical design activities from conceptualization through production, guiding a cross-functional team and ensuring robust, manufacturable solutions for intraoperative imaging equipment. The candidate will drive 3D modeling, documentation, and design validation, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet project goals and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years of mechanical product design experience.
• Technical leader experience overseeing 2–5 people.

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design activities from concept to production.
• Develop 3D models, drawings and specifications for product definition.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Document design changes and maintain records for audits.
• Lead design validation activities and prototype builds as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
