Omega Medical Imaging LLC in Sanford, FL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design electromechanical systems for advanced medical imaging equipment, including surgical tables and C-arms. The role involves taking concepts through detailed design, analysis, release, and production support, with close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks, experienced in mechanical design fundamentals, GD&T, FEA, and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and complex parts/drawings.
• Experience with GD&T, tolerancing, fasteners, and weldments.
• Experience with FEA or structural analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electromechanical mechanisms and assemblies for medical imaging equipment.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation in SolidWorks.
• Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with medical device requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support design reviews, risk analysis, and design release activities.
