IMRIS Imaging, Inc DBA IMRIS is seeking a Mobility Principal Engineer in North Billerica, MA. You will lead architecture, development, and verification for an MRI Mobility Subsystem, ensuring safe, reliable movement of the MRI system in the OR.

Role involves coordinating with multiple engineering teams, managing design verification, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the NPI program.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in development of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience leading safety-critical motion-control systems.
• Background in mobility system architecture and integration.
• Knowledge of functional safety and system verification/validation.
• Experience with medical devices, robotics, automation, or heavy mobile equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of mechanical subsystems for MRI mobility.
• Collaborate with Electrical, RF, Magnet, and Software teams for integration.
• Develop verification test plans and perform structural/thermal testing.
• Ensure compliance with medical device standards and DHF documentation.
• Provide technical leadership as primary authority for mobility activities.
