• Hands-on work including prototyping, machining, and field assembly/testing

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems for marine systems.
• Provide day-to-day mentorship to junior engineers and guide technical reviews.
• Own key technical projects from concept through deployment with timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, software, and field operations teams.
• Promote design practices, file management, and engineering documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies in engineering.
• Participate in prototyping, troubleshooting, and field deployments as needed
