Northrop Grumman Corp. in Independence, MO, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to guide manufacturing of current products and transition new ones.

You will act as a technical interface with customers and coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing. Responsibilities include supporting Build Readiness Reviews, developing and improving manufacturing processes, and managing the Technical Data Package and engineering changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus 8 years design/manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically/internationally.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering guidance to manufacturing and test locations.
• Support scheduling and cost tracking as control account manager.
• Lead process improvement and problem resolution.
• Prepare for Build Readiness and Production Readiness Reviews.
• Manage Technical Data Package and Engineering Changes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing and Test.
• Travel up to 25% domestically/internationally.
