Venture Global LNG in Houston seeks a Principal Engineer, Mechanical to lead design, scope refinement, cost estimating, and development of project design specifications for cryogenic LNG facilities. This in-office role requires coordinating with third-party managers, engineers, construction managers, inspectors and contractors to deliver projects on time.

You will influence decisions to improve reliability, reduce operating costs, and ensure compliance with codes and standards, while translating

Qualifications

BS in Engineering from an accredited university.
12+ years in design, commissioning, or operations of cryogenic processes.
5+ years multi-discipline engineering management experience.
Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferred.
Ability to mentor others through technical training on planning, scheduling, and engineering topics.
Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings including P&IDs, PFDs, C&Es, One Line Diagrams, Isometrics, and Civil/Structural drawings.

Responsabilités

Lead engineering design, scope refinement, cost estimating, development of project design specifications, and support construction.
Oversee project activities of third party PMs, engineers, construction managers, inspectors, and contractors.
Influence decisions to improve reliability, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
Translate project plans into coherent, credible project schedules.
Specify equipment and major materials for procurement.
Provide in-the-field construction assistance.
Understand industry standards, regulatory codes, and company standards.
Single point accountability for technical execution to achieve project objectives.
