Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Principal Engineer, Process in Houston. The role provides technical leadership for LNG process engineering, safeguards, and operating guidance across facilities.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient LNG production. The ideal candidate has extensive LNG processing experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in process safety and debottlenecking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive process engineering experience in LNG or hydrocarbon processing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operations technical authority for LNG process engineering and provide independent review for high‑risk decisions.
• Develop and maintain process engineering requirements, design criteria, and operating guidance.
• Lead and support HAZOPs, PHA, LOPA, MOC, and safety reviews.
• Provide senior‑level troubleshooting for plant trips and process instability.
• Define operating envelopes, safe operating limits and alarm setpoints.
• Support brownfield modifications, expansions, and major projects.
