Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston is seeking a Project Engineer to report to the Manager of Project Engineering. This is a Monday–Friday in-office position. The role supports design and construction of LNG projects with emphasis on civil and structural disciplines.

You will engage with regulatory interfaces, coordinate with contractors, and deliver site engineering inputs and reports while maintaining collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 4 years' minimum relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry, LNG Project.
• Willingness to travel.
• Self-directed work with limited supervision.
• Collaborate across disciplines and coordinate with project team.
• Adapt to changing project demands.

Responsibilities

• Interface with LDOT and ACOE regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to weekly site engineering reports.
• Review survey deliverables and resolve interface issues on site.
• Provide technical input to field RFIs.
• Coordinate with contractor and subcontractor for issue resolution.

Summary

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Engineer.

This position will report to the Manager of Project Engineering. This is a Monday - Friday in-office position.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• LDOT and ACOE regulatory interface
• Provides input to weekly site engineering report
• Review surveyor deliverables and assist with fit up / interface misses at site
• Provide Technical input to field RFI
• Coordinate with contractor and subcontractor for issue resolution

Qualifications

Required experience

• 4 years' minimum relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry, LNG Project
• Travel
• Self directs work with limited supervision.
• Work with project team as representative and coordinates work within discipline department.
• Adjusts to varying demands of work and manage changes.
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Works collaboratively across departments and involves others in solving problems. Initiates meetings within own team, other disciplines or internal customers for clarity on work.
• Serves as technical resource and point of contact for external or internal customers.

Software Knowledge

• STAAD Pro, Risa, STAAD Foundation, Mat 3D Foundation.3D MathCAD

Preferred Experience

2 years EPC experience

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Licensing & Certifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer with NCEES records preferred
