Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a multidiscipline project team. You will design facility mechanical systems (water, HVAC, piping) for industrial applications and collaborate with licensed engineers and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of mechanical facilities design experience, proficiency in Revit, and an ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering with a P.E. license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical facilities design engineering experience.
• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering; P.E. license required.
• Experience with HVAC, water, wastewater, piping, and clean rooms.
• AutoCAD MEP experience; Revit a plus.
• Willing to relocate locally and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and implement client solutions.
• Design mechanical systems for industrial facilities (water, HVAC, piping, etc.).
• Collaborate with licensed engineers and experienced designers.
• Work on site and remotely with teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Develop specifications and interface with on-site project teams.
• Inspect installations and ensure design integrity.
