Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will design and size mechanical systems for manufacturing and distribution facilities, partnering with experts across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of mechanical facilities design engineering experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit, and a P.E. license. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical facilities design engineering experience.
• Ability to complete mechanical system analysis, sizing, design, and report writing.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial facilities.
• Work with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with on-site project teams.
• Complete calculations, develop specifications, and oversee mechanical design.
• Inspect installations and perform site audits.
• Seal engineering documents.
• Support capital projects and drive client value.
