Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pasadena, CA. You will design industrial mechanical systems including water, HVAC, and plumbing, and work with architects and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will lead design efforts on multifaceted projects, interface with vendors, and travel as needed. A BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET) and PE license are required; relocation support is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mechanical facilities design engineering.
• Experience with HVAC, water, wastewater, and related systems is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior mechanical engineer on multidiscipline project teams.
• Design mechanical systems for industrial facilities (water, HVAC, cooling towers, boilers, etc).
• Collaborate with licensed engineers and designers to deliver quality solutions.
• Interact with project teams and clients to meet business needs.
• Inspect installations and contribute to project start-up and execution.
