Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ yearsxperience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, implement, and validate process enhancements based on customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and safety to achieve operational goals.
• Contribute to research, development, design, testing, and building electromechanical systems and controls.
• Analyze and determine best equipment setup, layout, and process flow for maximizing throughput.
• Implement process improvements utilizing lean principles.
• Provide technical support for installation, modification, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Incorporate safety, environmental, and health considerations in all design work.
• Perform root-cause problem solving to minimize downtime.
• Propose and implement changes to improve performance.
• Develop and coordinate engineering documents with revision control and instructions.
