Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience as Manufacturing/Process Engineer.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement projects.
• Experience with CAD for equipment layout.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for distribution transformers.
• Design and implement process engineering projects, including machinery setup and workflow optimization.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict production issues.
• Implement quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct time studies to measure bottlenecks and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost models for products and processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
