Job summary

ERMCO Inc. in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-based problem solving across manufacturing processes. You will lead improvement projects, map value streams, analyze data, and implement solutions on time and budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing or related fields, and experience with DMAIC, MS Office, data analysis tools, and AutoCAD. On-site relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial, quality, product, or process engineering.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies and techniques (LSS, DMAIC).
• Project leadership experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, data analysis tools, AUTOCAD.
• Self-aware; able to collaborate across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Be an active, visible, positive-change leader for the organization.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in the assigned areas of responsibility and assist others as needed.
• Evaluate Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost and develop OFIs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, IT, Sales and Finance to execute OFIs on time and budget.
• Perform engineering work including project definition, data collection and analysis, value-stream mapping, design, and implementation.
• Communicate status and quality of project deliverables to team, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Develop SME expertise in assigned areas.
