WSP in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Mechanical Engineer to lead technical delivery on Science & Technology facilities. You will direct planning, design, and construction administration of complex mechanical systems, serving as Engineer of Record and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of experience in high-performance building systems, with emphasis on laboratories, biotech, and pharmaceutical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• PE license required, Texas licensure possible.
• 10+ years of post-education mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for planning, design, and construction administration of mechanical systems for complex Science & Technology projects.
• Lead design of HVAC, hydronic, laboratory ventilation, and process exhaust systems.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
