Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Extensive CAD experience and ability to lead complex mechanical design.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, prototyping, analysis and design validation.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept through production.
• Serve as Mechanical Engineering technical lead, providing direction and oversight.
• Conduct analyses, reviews, risk assessments, and validation studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components into complete designs.
• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings; document designs.
• Guide prototype development, testing, and iteration to meet performance and quality goals.
• Select materials and processes balancing tech requirements, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development through technical input.
