Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience leading design of complex mechanical systems and guiding projects from concept to production.
• Strong CAD skills and proven ability to develop detailed drawings and documentation.
• Experience with prototype fabrication, testing, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems ensuring functionality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Serve as Mechanical Engineering technical lead on projects from concept through production with strategic direction and oversight.
• Conduct engineering analyses, design reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to optimize product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components into complete product designs.
• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and documentation using industry-standard CAD software.
• Guide prototype development, testing, validation, and design iteration to meet performance and quality objectives.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes balancing technical requirements, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers.
