Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Saint Louis Park, MN. You will coordinate mechanical engineers within a multidiscipline team and lead on projects, ensuring design excellence and timely delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems for commercial or institutional buildings, and PE licensure. Preference given to a Master's in Architectural Engineering (Mechanical).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers with a multidiscipline team.
• Establish client relations and participate in design/production meetings.
• Lead the mechanical aspects on projects and coordinate with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Perform code compliance reviews with governing agencies.
• Develop schematic, design development and contract document work sessions on site.
• Manage workload to meet project schedules and monitor financial aspects.
