Job summary

HDR is actively seeking an Experienced Architectural Professional in Saint Louis Park, MN. You will lead a multidiscipline team, coordinate across phases, and ensure code compliance with project stakeholders.

The role emphasizes design excellence, sustainability, and client collaboration. You will work on healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities, using Revit and related tools to produce architectural documents and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in architecture and design.
• Registered Architect status.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and related tools/processes.
• Strong codes knowledge and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects.
• Coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple project phases.
• Participate in owner/client and internal reviews for code compliance.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Review documents for conflicts across disciplines.
• Perform QA/QC and technical reviews.
• Write and edit architectural specifications.
• Coordinate addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders.
• Incorporate changes into project documents.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
