Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Houston, TX team. The role involves performing mechanical engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems, and leading multi-discipline projects.

You will prepare specifications, calculations, and drawings, review vendor documentation, and interface with clients and vendors to ensure project success while upholding HSSE standards and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• ABET-accredited institution is preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing client performance requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Develop sketches, calculations and analysis models for complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs and codes.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors to ensure project success.
• Plan workload, budgets and resources; manage multi-discipline project scope.
