You will guide the creation of construction drawings and specifications, coordinate with clients and project teams, and contribute to master planning efforts.

The role focuses on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and mission-critical projects. PE licensure and strong Revit/Microsoft Office skills are required, with 8+ years of HVAC design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum 8 years of design experience in HVAC and power piping systems.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for a variety of building types.
• Perform or oversee load and energy calculations with software such as IES and similar programs.
• Conduct existing building surveys and document existing mechanical systems.
• Develop system design and selection of equipment based on engineering calculations and analysis.
• Develop project specifications; prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies.
• Complete code compliance research and coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Provide construction administration services including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers; lead project teams and act as primary client contact.
• Assist in new business development; participate in project interviews.
