Job summary

CyberCoders in Dallas seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and MEP design for commercial and institutional projects. You will drive technical direction, coordinate with architects and multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.

The role requires 7+ years of HVAC/MEP design experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of ASHRAE/NFPA codes. You will mentor junior staff, support project management, and contribute to BIM coordination and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred or obtainable soon.
• 7+ years of HVAC/MEP design experience for commercial or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary models.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, energy efficiency, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC/MEP system design for medium to large projects.
• Create/Review construction documents and BIM models in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to resolve clashes.
• Provide design direction, review work, and mentor junior staff.
• Support project management: scope, schedule, budget, client presentations.
• Respond to RFIs and perform site visits during construction.
• Drive BIM workflows, QA/QC, and design process improvements.
