Job summary

You will develop concepts for new functions, create detailed designs and BOMs, collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams, and diagnose root causes of equipment failures. Travel up to 10% may be required; a BS Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related technical field required.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in manufacturing in an engineering role.
• Experience in hygiene, personal care, or roll converting industries is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks with high-level functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for new machine functions, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Create technical solutions, detailed designs, and assembly drawings.
• Interface with suppliers to clarify system functionality and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical guidance.
• Investigate equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and recommend corrective actions to maintenance teams.
