Job summary

Aristocrat in the United States is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of next-generation EGMs through our Refurbishment Center. You will own BOMs for NPI and RPI and work cross-functionally to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will apply GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and use SolidWorks and PLM tools to optimize designs, perform root-cause analyses, mentor junior engineers, and drive reliable hardware through high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in new product design and manufacturing
• Experience with high-volume product development and refurbishment
• Experience with injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and machining
• Experience with BOM management using PLM systems
• Familiarity with GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design for sustaining the portfolio of EGMs
• Ownership of BOMs for NPI and RPI
• Collaborate with Electrical, Quality, Field Service, and Manufacturing Eng & Operations teams to define and implement mechanical solutions
• Apply tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to ensure reliable, manufacturable and safe designs
• Create and iterate 3D SolidWorks models, 2D drawings and BOM lifecycle management
• Own ECOs from creation through implementation using PLM tools
• Work with FEA experts to optimize designs
• Conduct design reviews, lead root-cause analyses and implement improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and support design best practices
