Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming in Las Vegas seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of next-generation EGMs through refurbishment. You will own BOMs for NPI and RPI, and collaborate with Electrical, Quality, Field Service, and Manufacturing teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in high-volume product design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks), PLM experience, and hands-on testing from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in new product design/manufacturing, mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and machining.
• Experience with BOM management using PLM systems.
• Experience with product testing and reliability testing.
• Knowledge of sustainability and recyclability material selection.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with Engineering Change Orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design for sustaining EGMs.
• Maintain BOMs for NPI and RPI.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Quality, Field Service, and Manufacturing teams.
• Apply tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
• Create and iterate 3D SolidWorks models, 2D drawings, and BOM lifecycle.
• Own ECOs from creation to implementation using PLM.
• Work with FEA experts to optimize designs.
• Conduct design reviews and root cause analyses to improve reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote design best practices.
