Job summary

GamblingCareers.com seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of next-generation Electronic Gaming Machines through refurbishment. Qualifications

• 8+ years in new product design/manufacturing with mechanical focus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, machining.
• Proven experience in high-volume product development and refurbishment.
• Hands-on product testing, prototype evaluation, and reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for EGMs, including sustaining a portfolio.
• Own BOM maintenance for NPI and RPI.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Quality, Field Service, and Manufacturing teams to implement solutions.
• Apply tolerancing, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/ DFA to ensure reliable, manufacturable designs.
• Create and iterate 3D SolidWorks models and 2D drawings; manage BOM lifecycle.
• Manage ECOs from creation through PLM implementation.
• Coordinate with FEA experts to optimize designs.
• Lead design reviews and root-cause analyses; drive improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design.
