Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment from concept through integration and validation. You will define requirements, evaluate design options, mentor engineers, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and release readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong English communication; CAD and PLM experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical projects in multidisciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development activities for complex products and subsystems.
• Define requirements, interfaces, specifications, and verification criteria.
• Evaluate design options balancing performance, quality, cost, safety and manufacturability.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to support product integration and milestones.
• Lead testing and validation to confirm performance and release readiness.
• Identify risks and communicate mitigation recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge across teams.
