The role requires a PE license (MD or eligible by comity), a minimum of 16 years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Maryland PE license or able to obtain within 6 months via comity.
• 16+ years in mechanical design and project management.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and energy modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams in mechanical systems design.
• Develop and review HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs.
• Collaborate with clients to define needs and deliver solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and apply innovative approaches.
• Ensure design documents and calculations are accurate.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to meet milestones.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
