Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Expert ME (IS) for Utility Engineering to lead thermal, refrigeration, waste water, and related systems across our factories. You’ll link 3-4 IS areas to business needs and provide technical solutions to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of industrial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in the engineering field.
• General Engineering Principles learned in Engineering School.
• Ability to use digital tools effectively.
• Understanding of industry standards for drawing deliverables, field support, and details of utility systems (mechanical integrity, PSM/RMP audits, other utility audits).

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop expertise at the Factory IS Department level (IS Managers, Supervisors and Techs) for continuous support and improvement of the Factory utility operation.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) expertise to project teams (Factory and CPMO) with ammonia/refrigeration design, boiler / thermal design, compressed air systems, and/or waste water system design.
• Be accountable for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the industrial services to meet the operation's demand.
• Produce, verify or manage IS engineering deliverables for projects of all sizes: Scopes of Work (SOW's), Request for Quote or Proposal (RFP/RFQ), IS construction packages (IS layouts and schematics, etc.), Equipment Specification and Procurement, and FAT/Commissioning/Startup Support.
• Creation of department technical guidelines, standards, and specifications in the area of specialty.
