Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City, MO seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group to lead complex M/E activities on Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects.

You will develop estimates, review P&IDs, coordinate bid processes, and support commissioning with emphasis on quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Minimum 5+ years in engineering with strong communication and teamwork skills is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of construction and/or engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, P&IDs and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Review options, perform systems analysis, and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes of work during bid process.
• Develop sequencing requirements and provide scheduling input.
• Lead and mentor less experienced coworkers and promote safety and quality.
