Job summary

EAD Engineering is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead design execution and mentor technical staff on industrial projects. You will deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical solutions for facilities in food, life sciences, and parcel sectors.

The role requires PE licensure, 6+ years of experience, and strong communication with clients and teams. Travel to client sites and plants is expected as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 6+ years of mechanical engineering and industrial facility design experience.
• Strong communication skills with clients and teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design from concept through construction documentation.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with clients, installers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare specifications, calculations, and layouts to meet codes and EAD standards.
• Lead design reviews to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Support procurement of equipment and develop project scopes and estimates.
• Provide field engineering support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
