Fuller Technologies in Allentown, PA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to act as a regional technical authority for industrial equipment. You will lead complex engineering solutions, oversee equipment upgrades, and support aftermarket projects to improve performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical quality, mentor junior engineers, and drive standardization and optimization across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience in heavy industrial equipment.
• Expertise in cement processing equipment or equivalent machinery.
• Strong capabilities in machine design and engineering documentation.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with customers.
• Experience reviewing and approving technical work and mentoring juniors.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience with aftermarket services and product improvements.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional technical authority for assigned equipment lines, make technical decisions and ensure quality.
• Lead complex proposals and engineered solutions for aftermarket, retrofit, and product improvements.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Perform advanced mechanical calculations and analyses for designs and modifications.
• Lead root cause analyses and warranty assessments for equipment issues.
• Engage with customers on-site to discuss assessments and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Business Development to identify opportunities.
• Provide technical direction to procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding within the team.
