Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in hydroelectric turbine/generator projects and water conveyance
• Experience with dam valves and large water projects preferred
• California professional engineer license preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers on design, CAD drafting, and manufacturing plans
• Identify project goals with clients and define strategies to meet them
• Analyze loads and boundary conditions for turbine/generator mechanical design
• Perform quality control and develop inspection/test plans for equipment manufacturing
• Support installation, commissioning, and field measurements
• Prepare reports and drawings and present findings to clients
