Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineering license required; CA PE preferred.
• 10 years of hydropower engineering, design, and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design tasks within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise project teams and manage projects from planning through post-construction.
• Develop hydroelectric projects, including control systems, protection, and HV/LV power distribution.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and construction packages; estimate costs.
• Travel as needed (~15%).
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on standards and codes.
