Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Las Vegas, NV, to drive electro-mechanical product development and sustainment. You will create drawings, specifications, and ECOs, lead part/assembly design, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to innovate and optimize existing products.

The role requires 5+ years in electro-mechanical development, with consumer products background and PLM/3D modeling familiarity.

Qualifications

5+ years progressive experience in an electro-mechanical product development environment.
Background in consumer products desirable.
Familiar with PLM systems (Agile preferred) desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Create documentation (drawings, specifications, ECOs) for electro-mechanical parts and assemblies.
Lead designer of parts and assemblies.
Work as part of a multi-disciplined development team of engineers, designers and technicians.
Maintain proper documentation to substantiate patent applications and provide technical consultation when requested.
Suggest innovations, design improvements and cost reductions for existing products.
Participate in cross-functional design reviews at key milestones during the project life cycle.
Participate in prototype and pilot production builds.
Complete assignments within approved project budget and schedule parameters.
