Job summary

Moseley seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design and oversee mechanical systems for commercial and institutional facilities. You will apply HVAC design experience, lead projects, perform calculations and ensure code compliance on medium to large facilities.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years’ hands-on experience, a PE license (or 10+ years without), and strong Revit, energy modeling, and project-management skills. Hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET program.
• 7+ years’ experience with PE license.
• 10+ years’ experience without PE license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships within the team.
• Lead the design, development and implementation of mechanical systems for medium to large projects, including evaluations and life cycle cost analyses.
• Perform detailed calculations to develop construction and installation standards.
• Assist in construction administration through site visits.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with codes and safety standards.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborators to support project goals.
