Job summary

Revive Environmental in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and equipment engineering for our Annihilator SCWO systems and GAC RENEW platform. The role emphasizes pressure piping and pressure vessel design, metallurgy, and fabrication optimization.

You will specify major rotating and heat transfer equipment, support field deployment, and contribute to safety programs, PHAs, and MOC reviews in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ (preferably 15+) years of mechanical engineering experience in pressure piping and pressure vessel design.
• Strong safety record and ASME code experience (B31.3, VIII).
• Metallurgy expertise and fabrication methods background.
• Experience in high-pressure/high-temperature or hazardous waste systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify high-pressure piping systems and pressure vessels for SCWO service.
• Lead design reviews for new piping and vessel packages.
• Perform life assessments on fielded pressure equipment.
• Drive material selection and design changes to extend equipment life.
• Support MOC reviews and PHAs/HAZOPs for safety.
