Job summary

Revive Environmental in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to lead process engineering across the company’s SCWO technology portfolio, with emphasis on Annihilator 2.0 as it moves toward commissioning.

You will own ongoing optimization of fielded systems, support next-generation designs, and partner with operations and technology teams to bring the platform through commissioning into reliable field performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of process engineering design experience, preferably in high-pressure/high-temperature systems.
• Strong safety record.
• Experience with thermal reaction systems and fluid mechanics.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design across Revive's technology portfolio, focusing on Annihilator 2.0.
• Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
• Drive optimization of fielded systems to increase throughput and uptime.
• Support development of next-generation offerings.
• Model thermodynamics and kinetics of SCWO reactions.
• Size major equipment like pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
• Provide engineering support to operations for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Lead parts of Revive's process safety program including PHAs, HAZOPs, and procedures.
• Maintain MOC discipline across engineering and operations.
• Develop process safety information documentation.
• Champion proactive safety culture.
